The Aurora RVIII Central Office phone system will be out of service on Monday, June 16, 2024. Phone calls to the central office will be forwarded to the high school. Parents and Guardians: This is a reminder that school will dismiss on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 12:30 PM. Summer school will be in session from Tuesday, May 28 through Thursday, June 27 and will follow the regular school calendar. Please reach out to your student’s building if you have any questions. Students at the Jr. High enjoyed viewing the solar eclipse from the football field while community partners and teachers provided learning opportunities. Community Members: In alignment with Proposition Secure Our Students (S.O.S April 6, 2021), storm shelters at Pate, Robinson, and the Jr. High will be open to the public when school is not in session. The doors will be opened by district staff in the event the tornado sirens are sounded. Hopefully, there will be no need for use, but the District honors the commitment made during the bond campaign. The Aurora R-VIII School District will hold 3rd Quarter/Term Parent-Teacher Conferences during the week of MARCH 11th, 2024. The Junior High and High School teachers will have a set schedule of availability; Pate and Robinson teachers will reach out directly to parents-guardians for meeting requests.
